I came across this video of some “silent monks” singing the Hallelujah (Halleluia) Chorus from George Frideric Handel’s Messiah on YouTube the other day and thought I would share it with you in the spirit of Christmas.
It was part of “The Splendor of Christmas” presented by First Baptist Church, Brinkley, Arkansas in December 2008. Another similar rendition was produced in 1997 by a group called St Francis de la Sissies.
